Louise Bell is a freelance graphic designer and illustrator.
Louise has a successful career in graphic design for live events, designing commercial and sales presentations, including branding for large corporations and UK SMEs. After becoming a Mum for the second time Louise started drawing again and discovered a huge love for papercutting. She started selling original pieces and commissions on Etsy and it was through this Louise realised her artwork and designs would make beautiful patterns and motifs, not just for one-off papercuts but for art prints, fabric, stationery and home accessories. This naturally led her down the path of surface pattern design and illustration, creating unique pieces using her line drawings, paintings and mark making.
When she is not creating in her studio, you can find Louise baking anything she can with her sourdough starter, going for really long walks with her family or tending to her veg patch and flowers in her the garden.
